Toning
The skin of every individual, regardless of his/her sex, needs regular toning just after cleansing process. The toners are essential for every skin type. They clog up the pores that opened during cleansing process and remove excess oil and harmful toxins from the skin.
These toners turn the skin taut and a bit irritated while removing toxins and other impurities from the skin. The application of toning lotions, however, relieves the irritation and rejuvenates the skin. Moreover, these lotions stimulate the circulation of blood to the skin rendering it a healthy glow. Toning prevents the formation of wrinkles as well.
Skin Toning Tips
A mixture of rosewater and Witch hazels is an ideal toner for a combination skin. For preparing the same, mix together rosewater and Witch hazels in 2:1 proportion and apply it to the skin using a gauze piece for making the skin feel cool and fresh and maintaining face’s pH value.
Mix one tablespoon glycerin, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 3 tablespoons rosewater together. This mixture is a good toner for dry skin. Rub the prepared mixture on your skin and give it the radiant effect.
To get a toner for oily skin, dissolve one teaspoon borax in almost 150 ml rose water. Next, slightly warm two tablespoon olive oil and pour it to that solution. Then after add one beaten egg to the mixture and beat it well so that the mixture turns into a thick paste. At the end, add two tablespoons of lavender concentrated water to it and stir well. Apply the prepare mixture to the skin to tone it up.
A grated strawberry is an effective toner for sensitive and sunburned skin.
